We believe 2010 is going to be a year of "Greater Things." Here is a snap shot of our commitment for 2010.

1. Our Commitment to our Community
As we are praying for God to do greater things, we are re-evaluating our commitment to outreach. We don't want to be a church that is focused inward only. We want to keep our focus outward and continue spreading the Gospel in our city. Our outreach team is thinking and strategizing right now as to how we can get outside of our church to impact our community with the love of Christ and the hope of salvation.

2. Our Commitment to our Congregation
We are serious about building a strong church by the grace of God. One of the most important steps PCC has ever taken is coming in the ordination of Elders. We believe the Biblical model of Church leadership is Eldership. The first set of Elders will be ordained in Spring 2010.This is the wisest step Preaching Christ Church can take at this stage of our Church life.

3. Our Commitment to Global Missions
This commitment has always been firm, but we desire to see it even stronger. Our hope is to lead mission teams to Tijuana, Mexico, Bucharest, Romania, Zanzibar Island and Nkota-Kota, Malawi to visit our 7 congregations overseas.

Our Mission:
To be a strong passionate Body of Believers in which every member is equipped to achieve his or her God given purpose both in the Church Body and in their personal lives. A Church that is grounded through prayer and the Word, who is sustained by the a passionate love for God and people and is driven by its unrelenting pursuit of the lost. We commit to being a church that keeps its focus outward, on our city and on the world, while still teaching and equipping our people to become more effective ministers of the Gospel.
